Below is a breakdown of some of the services I offer, as well as the typical prices I charge. Please be aware every clock is different, so the prices may change based on an in-person consultation.
I check my prices against the national averages supplied by the British Watch & Clock Makers’ Guild, so I can be sure that I’m charging a price in line with what you might expect to pay elsewhere.
It would be impossible to list a quote for every type of clock or watch, so please contact me if yours is not listed or if you are unsure what category yours would fall into.
Please Note: On repairs over £100 a 50% will be taken when the repair gets taken on.

**Will only be added to the price of a service, and only in instances where the barometer doesn’t have the required amount. I cannot and will not sell mercury separately to be fitted by the customer. As a guide the average Barometer holds 160-180g of Mercury.
The price for clock and watch servicing includes the repair or replacement of minor parts. These include replacement mainsprings, bushings, pivot polishing, etc. These are the kind of repairs that are regularly carried out as part of a service and therefore included in the price. It does not include any major repairs, such as broken wheels, pinions, pallets, or re-pivots. These are charged separately. The price of these repairs varies considerably, so I wont attempt to list prices here.
It may not be possible to quote for these at the time the clock is taken in, as only once the clock is disassembled can the full extent of any damage be seen.
Should the customer not agree to the revised quote, the clock will be returned in the condition it was received. I would charge £35 for ever hour spent on the clock, including the time to reassemble it.
