Dedicated to carrying out high quality clock repairs in and around Cornwall
A bit about myself
My name is Michael, and I am a horologist based in Cornwall, but my skills are sought after by clients throughout the southwest.
I specialise in the restoration and maintenance of fine antique mechanical clocks. The majority of my work is geared towards the more specialist restoration of 17th, 18th & 19th century clocks though I do undertake work on high quality modern clocks.
I am also able to undertake repairs to watches, both modern and vintage, as well as barometers, mercurial and aneroid. Click here to learn more about my watch repairs.
I have been fortunate enough to be trusted to restore and look after some of the south wests finest clocks and horological collections.
Bringing an item that doesn’t work back to life and getting to share this with the owners is the most rewarding part of this job.
I pride myself on completing all work to a high standard no matter the job.
I am a member of the British Watch and Clockmakers Guild and adhere to their professional charter.
Here to look after what matters to you.
With a fully equipped workshop, I can carry out repairs to most types of clocks, from carriage clocks to grandfather clocks, and everything in between.
I specialise in the restoration and maintenance of antique clocks pre-1900s.
I can carry out work from house calls to basic overhauls, through to a full restoration.
Just because another repairer wont or can’t do it doesn’t mean it can’t be done. I take pride in the many customer who tell me they thought they would never get their item working again after being turned away by other repairers as “it can’t be done”.
My work comes with a minimum twelve-month guarantee for peace of mind.
I offer a free and honest up-front estimate for any work required.
